Schools are meant to enrich a student with learning and finding the practical use of concepts rather than memorizing and mugging them up. A student goes to school not just to acquire academic knowledge but also to gain the knowledge of the world that works besides the academic one i.e. be it sports, arts, singing, speaking and listening skills etc. because this is how a personality is build and shaped. Right now, a lot of such features are lacking in the education provided by the schools. A lot more emphasis is being given to mugging up and force feeding. How can we overcome this gap?
